Tecolote Canyon Golf Course has been named as one of 10 finalists in the 2014 San Diego Best U-T Readers’ Poll. You can have your voice be heard by voting for your favorite golf property. One vote per day is allowed and the poll runs through June 29, 2014. Although a winner won’t be announced until August 25, 2014, being a nominee as one of the regions’s premier courses has Tim Hayward, General Manager of Tecolote Canyon GC, appreciative of the recognition.
“It’s a great honor for Tecolote Canyon to be a nominee for San Diego’s Best U-T Readers’ Poll Best Golf Course,” said Hayward. “The course is steeped in history and to have any form of positive recognition furthers a tradition that we are trying to carry on. This year marks the 50th anniversary for Tecolote Canyon Golf Course, and we hope to continue providing a great experience as one of the best executive golf courses in the state of California. No matter how the poll turns out, to be mentioned along with some of San Diego’s greatest golf courses is a win for this facility and our staff.”
Tecolote Canyon Golf Course is located in the Clairemont Mesa region of San Diego and boasts an exceptional tee-to-green experience. The golf course contains 18 holes of executive play and has received accolades such as “Best Challenge at an Executive Golf Course” by Southland Golf Magazine. Tecolote Canyon’s course is a refreshing, enjoyable challenge with small greens, minuscule bail-out areas, elevation changes, and hazards on almost every hole.
