It is not often that the leading team looks like they may be in big trouble. The American team currently leads the European side by two points, but there is a big down side. Team Europe leads all six matches currently in play. With rain delaying the action again play will not officially end until Monday. If the USA cannot scramble back and win a few of the six matches it may not be worth watching. Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker are currently four holes down in their match in a Ryder Cup where many expected Tiger to finally break from his slump.
With a lot of golf left the American squad is certainly not out of it. At the very least they need to halve several of the matches on Sunday to remain in contention. Play resumes at 8:30a.m. EST.
