Job summary:

 

  • Supervise, organize, train and direct maintenance employees.

  • Perform daily inspection of the golf course and clubhouse grounds.

  • Communicate daily with Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.

  • Maintain communication with maintenance employees.

  • Maintain communication with golf shop.

  • Responsible for irrigation scheduling, fertilizer and pesticide application

  • Troubleshoot and repair irrigation problems; broken heads, pipes, wiring issues.

  • Perform general golf course maintenance practices; mowing, cultural practices, etc.

  • Understand general turfgrass management practices and philosophies.

  • Keep records and documents up to date.

  • Project a professional image at all times.

Must be dedicated in providing a quality golf course to the membership

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Agronomy or related field required. (Preferred)
  • Preferably two years golf course experience.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Flexible work schedule

Must posses or be capable of obtaining Oregon Pesticide License
