Job summary:

Provide customer service to members and guests by greeting and directing them in person and on the telephone.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve the needs of members and guests arriving at the clubhouse by offering assistance, information, directions by acknowledging, greeting and thanking all members and guests.
  • Answer incoming calls, taking messages, transferring calls or making reservations as needed
  • Maintain member roster and website by updating with additions, deletions and changes
  • Handle escalated member/guest service issues in a prompt and effective manner
  • Provide leadership of reception staff by training, scheduling, directing and evaluating other Receptionists

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an orderly reception area by organizing workspace and maintaining general supplies
  • Provide assistance to other departments by performing administrative tasks

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • High school diploma and 2 years of related experience in customer service, hospitality or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate the following equipment: computer, fax machine, copy machine
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an even demeanor, be outgoing, friendly and proactive
  • Valid driver’s license is required
