Careers: Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent
American Golf Corporation is always looking for qualified turfgrass management professionals. Although the skills and knowledge required to operate and manage a maintenance operation vary at every facility, American Golf Corporation is seeking individuals who possess the following qualifications: Superintendent • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Working knowledge of principles of turfgrass management • Proven management experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management role at a golf course • A 2 or 4-year degree or certificate in turfgrass management or other related field such as horticulture, agronomy or plant, soil and crop sciences Assistant Superintendent • Progressing knowledge of principles of turfgrass management • A 2- or 4-year degree or certificate in turfgrass management or related field • Minimum of 3 years of golf course experience with progressive responsibility Golf Course Superintendent Opportunities: American Golf Corporation is committed to providing its customers with outstanding courses that offer the best possible golfing conditions.
