Nestled in the eastern portion of Old Las Vegas and just minutes from "The Strip", Desert Rose Golf Course was one of the first golf facilities built in Las Vegas and has all the charm of an early modern design.
Designed and built in 1964 by the tandem of Dick Wilson and Joe Lee (i.e. Bay Hill, Doral, and Callaway Gardens) this par 71 traditional layout is fun for golfers of all skill levels. The beauty of Desert Rose's design is that for every player-friendly feature, there is also an element of challenge.
Over 6,500 yards from the back tees, this challenging, yet fair 18 hole track is enhanced by tight manicured fairways and challenging green complexes. Probably the most demanding hole at the Desert Rose Golf Course is the Par 5 fourth. At 607 yards, this long and tight par 5 has out-of-bounds on the left and water on the right. Like many of the holes at "The Rose" this par 5 will test your skills as well as your mental toughness.

- · Rental Clubs: Rental clubs by Tour Edge are available for $35.00 per set.
- · Restaurant: The Desert Rose Bar & Grill serves breakfast and lunch with added "Chef's Daily Creations" over and above the regular menu. At the completion of your round, you're invited to linger over libation and hors d'oeuvres.
- · Cocktail Bar: An integral part of the Desert Rose Bar & Grill, bar service is available from opening to close. A variety of beverage choices is available, from lemonade (have it spiked if you like), during the summer to hot chocolate and Bailey's during the winter
- · Driving Range: The driving range and chip & putt practice areas are open from sunrise to sunset. The range closes for maintenance only on Thursday afternoon.
- · Chipping Green(s): We have 2 chipping greens for those who like to practice their short game.
- · Putting Green(s): See Driving Range.
- · Practice Bunker(s): The practice bunker is an integral part of the chipping practice area. Just see if you can get out of this one.
