Deutsche Bank Championship hopes to avoid Earl

Hurricane Earl is heading towards the eastern seaboard it appears that it will most likely have an impact on the PGA Tour Playoffs. The Deutsche Bank Championship is being played at the TPC of Boston in Norton, Massachusetts. Tournament officials are already planning for poor weather and rain delays but hope to finish the tournament on Labor Day. Unlike nearly every other PGA Tournament the Deutsche Bank has a Friday start because of the holiday weekend. The weather could pose a problem because the playoffs continue next week and if the tournament is delayed to Tuesday it will only leave one free day for players to get ready for the BMW Championship.

All eyes are watching Tiger Woods to see if he can find his swing once again. It seems as though he is fully dedicated to his golf game for the first time in a year and knowing his game he should be back to winning soon. Matt Kuchar looks to continue his fine play following his win last week at The Barclays. When there is a $10 million dollar purse waiting for the champion there is always plenty to play for and more than enough pressure.
