Professional golfers wait and work their entire lives to be put in the position Robert Garrigus had at the St. Jude Classic. Leading by three shots with one hole to play it looked as though he would lock up his first win on the big stage, seven strokes later he was in a playoff. Moments like this can do one of two things, destroy some one or make them more resilient. The fact the Garrigus stuck around for an interview after losing the playoff speaks volumes about his character. Most players run and hide from the press following a disaster like this. Hopefully Garrigus will bounce back and get the win he certainly deserves.
