Tiger Woods discussed finding a balance in his life again. Perhaps the upcoming year will give him the opportunity to put the past behind him and continue his quest towards Jack Nicklaus’ major championship record. The PGA Tour had plenty of surprises in 2010. Tiger Woods did not win, Lee Westwood is the new number one, and several young players marched toward super star status. With Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy looking like seasoned veterans, it only seems a matter of time before Tiger has an new generation of competition to worry about. The fact remains that tournaments are not as exciting without Tiger in contention. His ability to make clutch shots and quick comebacks is unmatched. Nobody else brings the intensity and energy to the back nine on Sunday. Tiger Woods made some terrible decisions in the past year. Hopefully he has made amends in his personal life so the rest of us can watch him be competitive on the golf course.
