Previously voted one of the “Top Short Courses” by Golf Range Magazine, Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course was described by the San Diego Union Tribune Sports Editors as, "A hidden and under-used jewel" of San Diego golf courses. North San Diego County golf courses are aplenty, but Lomas Santa Fe Exec stands out among its peers, in part because it's one of the best-conditioned executive golf courses in the area, with panoramic ocean views, cool ocean breezes, multi-tiered greens, and deep bunkers. Golfers searching for a San Diego public golf course that offers country club conditions and greens should not miss out on Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course. Although the layout is shorter, measuring only 2,431 yards for 18 holes, Lomas Santa Fe Exec still offers 29 bunkers and 2 water hazards on a course that is surprisingly (and enjoyably) challenging.
