Supporting Military and First Responder Families Through Golf
Anaheim, CA — On November 10th, 2025, the American Golf Foundation (AGF) Ambassadors at Anaheim Hills Golf Club (AHGC) hosted the inaugural Salute to Heroes Golf Classic Charity Golf Tournament to raise money for Folds of Honor. The first-year event was a huge success, resulting in a donation of $21,423 to the charity from the tournament.
AHGC also donated another $6,313 to Folds of Honor, which was raised throughout 2025 from numerous “Closest to the Pin” Par-3 contests by AGF Ambassadors at AHGC. Totaling $27,736, these funds will support the families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders through educational scholarships.
The tournament welcomed a sold-out field of 144 golfers along with 15 sponsors from local businesses who all rallied behind the incredible cause.
The event included swag bags for pickup at registration, raffle tickets, an air cannon golf ball launcher, breakfast, lunch, and a buffet dinner during the evening banquet that was highlighted by a heartfelt speech from a Folds of Honor representative who is the spouse of a fallen first responder.
