Hole

Hole #1

Our opening hole is a par 4 downhill with the driving range boarding the right side of the fairway. A greenside bunker short of the green protects it from wedges and short irons.

X
1

Hole #2

Hole 2 is the first of the four par 3s on the course. A straightforward tee shot is needed as you aim at a modest-sized green with slope from back to front.

X
2

Hole #3

Hole 3 is a short par 4 that can be reachable for longer hitters. Cut the dogleg and avoid the fairway bunker on the right to have a chance at the green.

X
3

Hole #4

Two bunkers short of this green guard Hole 4 from a mid-iron from the white tees. But if a player chooses to hit a tee ball from the 195-yard blue tees, this hole becomes the toughest par 3 on the course.

X
4

Hole #5

Hole 5 is a straight par 4 up the hill toward the clubhouse. Avoid the large tree short and right of the green if you want to make it.

X
5

Hole #6

Hole 6 is a slight dogleg-left par 4. Your tee shot forces you to hit over a 20-foot gorge. It’s very difficult to make a putt on this green as it slopes severely from front to back.

X
6

Hole #7

Your tee shot on Hole 7 is aided by a downward slope. Golfers will pick up 10-25 yards of extra roll. The second shot is tough due to the smallest par 4 green on the course, which is also guarded by a large bunker short right of the green.

X
7

Hole #8

Hole 8 is a medium-length par 4 with the boundary fence serving as O.B. left of the fairway. A false front on this green makes it tough for golfers to roll balls onto the green.

X
8

Hole #9

From the tee, you can’t see the bottom of the fairway on the longest par 4 at Chester Washington. Golfers look back at a mirror placed 20 feet in the air behind the tee box to gauge their shots.

OUT

Hole #10

Hole 10 is the shortest par 3 on the course; however, only being 35 feet deep with major slope from back to front, it can sometimes play as the toughest.

X
10

Hole #11

A generous fairway on this par 4 allows golfers to get aggressive with their driver off the tee.  The green is only defended by 1 greenside bunker. Many birdies can be made on this hole.

X
11

Hole #12

Hole 12 is the first par 5 on the course. A wide fairway invites golfers to win the long drive on this hole. Many golfers can get home in two and have a putt for eagle.

X
12

Hole #13

Hole 13 is a demanding par 3 that can play close to 200 yards. No bunkers to be seen, but the entire green is crowned and any shot hit toward the edge of the green will roll off.

X
13

Hole #14

Hole 14 is a severe dogleg-left protected by a forest of trees in the left rough, which forces golfers to lay up on the right side of the fairway. This green appears longer than it is wide, and makes it tough to judge your second shot.

X
14

Hole #15

Hole 15 is an uphill par 4 lined with olive trees in the right rough. A bunker runs the entire length of the green. Subtle slope on this green makes it difficult to make many putts.

X
15

Hole #16

The tee shot off the Hole 16 has you hitting from a chute framed by large trees. O.B. guards the left side. A large, deep greenside bunker stops all short shots attempting to reach this slightly elevated green.

X
16

Hole #17

Hole 17 is a demanding par 4 that requires two great shots to reach this green. With only one fairway bunker to manage, its 440-yard distance from the blue tees gives golfers a problem with this hole. A large putting surface with slope from back to front also makes it difficult to two-putt.

X
17

Hole #18

The closing hole at Chester Washington is your final birdie chance on the course. This is a slightly uphill par 5 reachable in two for longer hitters. The green is fairly flat, but has two large bunkers guarding it on each side.
